Today I also went to a Danish antiques place in Emeryville and bought myself a rad teak credenza. I don't have a photo of the one I bought, but this one is almost identical:
It will go perfectly with the Danish teak couch, chair, and coffee table my parents bought in 1964 and which I've recently charmed them out of.
Tonight I made Heidi Swanson's Tasty Asparagus and Brown Rice, except with quinoa instead of rice. It was veganlicious. I guess that doesn't really count as home improvement. But it's a vast improvement over what I get to eat in India, so there you go--I just made this post on topic, did you see how I did that?
Oh, and also I am now a brunette:
It's exactly like being a blond, except with brown hair.
